Why Gay Romance Novels, Reincarnation & Soulmates?

At first glance, it might seem like an unusual mix: gay romance, reincarnation, and the concept of soulmates. But for me, these three ideas naturally intertwine—they’re all about connection, identity, and the enduring search for love that feels bigger than one lifetime.

Why gay romance?
Because queer love stories matter. They’re more than just romance—they’re windows into our struggles, our joy, and our right to be fully seen. Writing them allows me to celebrate relationships that have often been erased or sidelined, giving them the space and complexity they deserve.

Why reincarnation?
Because some love stories don’t fit neatly into one lifetime. Reincarnation opens the door to “what ifs”—what if you met the same soul again? What if you could find each other after everything, even death? It lets me explore love in its purest form: beyond time, beyond circumstance, beyond labels.

Why soulmates?
Because there’s something deeply comforting about the idea that we are not wandering this life alone. Soulmates—romantic or otherwise—are proof that connection is cosmic. They remind us that love can transcend boundaries, whether those boundaries are miles, years, or lifetimes.

When I weave these themes together, I’m writing about hope: the hope that no matter what we face—loss, fear, or even death—love has a way of finding us again.
